Keith Porcaro is a lawyer and technologist. His work focuses on how technology mediates legal decision-making. Keith is an expert in digital governance: he has helped hospitals, labor unions, companies, and governments to build better decision-making systems for sensitive, critical data. In addition, Keith builds interactive training and teaching tools that focus on how interface design influences perceptions of rules and risk. 

Previously, Keith co-founded Digital Public, a data governance firm, and was CTO/General Counsel at SIMLab. He is a former fellow at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center, affiliate at Duke’s Center on Law and Technology, and an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center. He has a JD from Duke University and is licensed to practice law in California.
