Senior Executive Producer and Director of Digital Partnerships, GBH Bill Shribman has 30 years’ experience making digital media for kids, most of which have been at GBH, working to support children’s education through technology. In his development role he has devised and produced large scale digital education projects for both novel and ubiquitous technologies. WGBH Educational Foundation (GBH) is a 501c3 non-profit and the source of approximately one-third of the PBS primetime line-up, with signature series that include NOVA, Frontline, Masterpiece, Antiques Roadshow, ARTHUR and Molly of Denali and Bill is a two-time Daytime EMMY winner, Peabody Award winner. He has created national media literacy content in the form of video, animations, games, and after-school curriculum for his original series Ruff Ruffman: Humble Media Genius and Search It Up. His projects have included producing the Curious George website which has seen over 3.5 billion page views, leading the Molly of Denali digital platform, developing an early literacy app with the Harvard Graduate School of Education, producing innovative VR projects with Microsoft and NASA, and creating outdoor science apps with NSF support. He has designed over 200 digital learning games and apps. His work has been supported by Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Comcast and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and it has a current focus on digital skills for adults, media literacy for students, and the changing information landscape accelerated by the impact of artificial intelligence.
