Tiffany Lin was Research Associate and Project Manager for the Assembly at the Berkman Klein Center supporting research and project activities for cybersecurity and ethics in artificial intelligence. Her research interests lie in the intersection of the Internet, corporate responsibility, social structures, and human rights.
Tiffany is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in Canada, from the Knowledge Integration program, where she specialized in collaborative design, and minored in sociology. Her undergraduate Honors thesis focused on how news and media outlets frame controversial Internet technologies, using Tor as a case study. In university, she was the web director and news editor for the Knowledge Integration Student Society, and an organizer and film curator for Cinema Politica.
Outside of Berkman Klein, Tiffany enjoys undertaking various art and design projects.
