Open Code / Open Content / Open Law Strategic Planning Session
The Berkman Center concluded the academic year with an all-day strategic planning session on May 20, 1999. As you probably know—or have yourself been a part of—we are deeply engaged in the exploration of open and closed systems of code, governance, and law, as expressed in such projects as developing and using open source teaching and discussion tools, providing open forums for the new Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, and the substance and litigation strategy of the copyright term extension challenge Eldred v. Reno.
