Scope and content of a possible Digital Public Library of America
Earlier this week, the Digital Public Library of America planning initiative gathered a lively group in Cambridge for a workshop organized around the "content and scope" research track. The DPLA team at the Berkman Center is folding notes from the workshop into the DPLA wiki (to which, it's hoped, interested folks will continue to contribute), with a report on the way; meantime, there's a clutch of firsthand reports accessible:
- John Palfrey liveblogged each session (one, two, three, four);
- Dan Cohen and David Weinberger each blogged the workshop;
- Amanda French happened to present on the topic at another event; and
- many reported via #dpla on Twitter.
