Among the advantages of the firm is its ability to hire a lawyer; a concentrated enterprise can spare some cycles for a general counsel, protect some of its consultations with attorney-client privilege, and so stand up for its rights and the rights of the public who depend on it. How can we provide effective legal service to the distributed enterprise of peer production?
